I have 3 silver dollars that are about 3 to 4 inches and a silver dollar that is about 1.5 inches in a 29 gallon tank with 4 giant danios, a pleco, and a catfish. Recently they began fighting. The others except for the smaller one have beat up tails. I know schooling fish like these nip at each other but is this too much fighting when their tails are begining to be tattered? Does anyone have any idea why this suddenly started after roughly 2 months of being in the tank together? About 1.5 weeks ago I changed the decorations around because I had to move them to another 29 because the first started leaking. Could it be that they are trying to restablish the dominance line? Will this calm down? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
