I suppose it's a commonly asked question but the search facility proved fruitless.
How much should a 10 to 12 inch aisan arow be eating?
I tried pellets to start for a day or 2 and it was having none of it, so to get it settled I gave it small river shrimp. The problem with these are they soon scoot to the bottom and are now pretty much part of the tank. The arow will pick em off as and when it can, it pretty much seems to be always on patrol for them.
I also give it 1 or 2 feeders, morning and night.
I have other fish that are plain stupid and will eat until they die, I presume arowana won't over eat but i don't know if it's getting enough.
When it's a little bigger i will starve it on to pellets, but at the moment i just want to make sure it's eating enough.
How much should it be eating?

stuff some pellets into the shrimp. ;)

No, your aro will not eat until it dies. Not like gold fish ^^

Imo, it is not a good practice to live too much live food in the aquarium with aros, they get arrogant (i.e. will not care if you are nearby or not). I suggest they finish all the live food in the aquarium before you try the pellets or feed them slowly (stop when a last feeder or pellet remains).

PS: i am guilty with my silvers tank (but that is because they are not so fond of feeders - cricket-crunchers these are)

I can't because they are alive. When i put food in for another fish they come to the surface and grab the food, the arow will often take them out when they do this.
They're living in the tank with the arow, i don't do market shrimp because it's not safe in asia.

I agree, I tried to syphon them out in my last water change but they're sneeky. some of them are pretty big now, the aro will go for them when it sees them on the surface of something or coming up.

My 18" or so Jardini can eat around 20+ arow sticks and 4+ Large Raw Shrimp a day.

i have a jardini and all i feed him is aro sticks and shrimp. trying to get him off the feeder fish.

Yesterday my fish did five feeders, 2 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.
It's behaviour has changed as well, it stirkes as soon as they're in the tank. This will help when I start to introduce other foods.
I have now removed all the fish, bar my arrow from my tank, there was a parrot fish in there which was garding the bottom. I believe this fish was keeping the arrow from finishing of all the live river shrimp. Once the shrimp are gone I'll stave it on to sticks.

I guess my RTG must have been hungry. Yesterday i feed it the final 2 feeders i had. I've been putting them in the tank with a net and it goes at them like an arrow (no pun intended) so i tricked it, i put as pice of market shrimp in the net and put it in the tank.
It at 2 full sized (de-shelled) shrimp.
I'll have it on pellets soon now.
I'm pretty glad because i don't want to feed it live fish only. I want to mix it diet as much as possible.
