how much for a used aquaclear 110?

$45 $40? these sell for $90 plus in the popular online stores
 
I sold my last one for something like 15 bucks I think. I practically give my crap away, yet I still have a mound of boxes taking up space of aquarium
crap I can't get rid of locally. Florida sucks a fat one.
 
I'd pay probably $30 for one in good condition with no media at all.

I'm actually in the market for a 110 or another 70 actually, if you're trying to think of a good price to sell one you own :D
 
How old is it? Usually you get at most half for used filters and other fish related items. Sell it for 45 and when noone is buying, say your making a special sell offer and go down 5 bucks. People are fools and will go for this.
 
I got my 110 for $25 and the older model the 500 when it was called that for $20. The LFS near me sells it for $60 everyday. So yea, I would not spend more than $30 on a used one even if I was desperate.

I also bought a Rena XP3 cannister filter for 15 bucks without the tubing and intake and outake things. But I got that for 4 bucks somewhere else.

Yea, buying used is a way to go.
 
I normally paid $50-$55 in the past for them if they were in great condition so I think that's fair.Face it-they kick butt and are the best HOB out there hands down.I recently sold a bunch of them and I think I sold 1 too many so need another one.I would have no issue spending $55 on a mint condition used one.That's way better than the full price.Not to mention,they last forever.I still have a few 500's I still use and know a few friends who still have them as well.
