Hey everyone!

So I have a 125g aquarium with a Parrot*Midas hybrid (it's about 8"), a 10" Cactus Pleco, and a 14" CB Endli. At the moment I'm using an FX6, an AC 110, and a SunSun 304b.

I'm getting rid of the 304 B (giving it to a family member). Do you think the AC110 n FX6 could be enough, or should I add something else? Perhaps another AC110? I kinda liked the idea of having fewer tubes tbh.

Thanks in advance!

I think you should add more filtration for sure (do so as you see fit). Cichlids and plecos are pretty messy, so will always need more filtration than many fish.

I would say that with those fish, another filter would be good to have, unless you have a constant drip system for water changes. By definition, the FX6 is probably not getting serviced anywhere close to once a week, so it accumulates gunk. With the AC 110 as your other filter, I would say you need more filtration.
I also have a 125g with a FX6, a AC110 and a Penguin 350. I change 60-70% water once a week. I cannot see myself removing any of the filters.
But different people see it differently.

I'd add a power head to the side with the hob filter and point it toward the top. The current it creates will help keep sediment in the water column so the filters can do their job. What it doesn't help clean up that way it'll pile in one spot for easier clean up. Add that second filter after powered if you still want it. Typically cant ever hurt to over filter

Edit: just seen your last post. Disregard
