well I love crenicichla and my lfs doesn't get them in to often... but they got a 6-8" one in.... I am not sure on sp. but it has BRIGHT red eyes... and a bright red dorsal fin... It has a dark top... and a greenish bottom... with those "bands" on it... here are pics of "similar" pikes... they look like him... he looks like the red fin johanna....(at least the top fin and eyes) but anyways he is offering it for 60$... is this okay? I honestly think it is the third one down....

I am not yet a pike expert so I am sure someone else can help you with the species and price. But regardless of that if you like the fish and it seems to be decent size 60$ seems like a fair enough price to me. If you pass him up because he is 10 or 20 bucks too expensive you may regret it.

Looks like two different pikes to me, the one in hands looks like a orange & the larger looks like a red pike. Don't know about price.

those are all different pikes but aspects of each of them match the one I am looking at.... money isn't an issue... I have been working and working and now have about 500$ so no issues there...

6-8" for $60 seems decent for such a colorful Johanna , which I'd say it looks like.
