How much is this fish worth?

Is $30 a high price for a 9" Jack Dempsey that is healthy? I need to get rid of him because I am getting other fish for my 180 gallon and I don't want him to eat them. I just need to know a good price for him. I posted on craigslist that I was rehoming him and the guy ends up being a no show after he told me to hold the fish for him. If I didn't have bad luck I would have no luck at all.

If it is 9inches or right around there, I would buy it for that price. I think the LFS would sell that guy for more.

yea i agree 35 sounds good. Some lfs will rip you off ive seen them for more than that. Not that it really matters but its a male right? My males about 8inches
