Oscars, jags, dempseys, terrors, along those lines, and 1 fish? Lol I'm buying fish for pets and Im not buying them to have 50000 gallons for a little guppy lol I don't live in a mansion, but it's big enough to accommodate me.

Half dozen or so if you are careful, none get too dominant, and no females, because if any fish that size breed in a tank that size everything else dies. Jags are the biggest meanest, stick to GT, dempseys, medium size cichlids, but it is a never ending headache with fighting most the time. Buy dividers ahead of time
 
And I only say that because the GT and dempseys likely will not hit the 12" mark and definitely not 14"
 
Alright thanks, right now i have a 4 inch jag, was hoping for a female because hey stay much smaller, a big O, and a grow out green terror, dempsey, and feeder convict that survived lol, I was gonna keep everything and get rid of either the gt or dempsey. That sound bad?

I'd try it but if one were to start killing id say it would be the jag. GT grows pretty slow also and will be 2nd to disappear after the convict
