I have a 5-6 inch kkp female that has proven to lay eggs but she's very aggressive. I have a male red dragon male(same size). I decided to introduce them together in the same tank. I placed a divider in the tank at first and she showed no interest. I just took the divider out and the male is following her relentlessly. They have locked lips about 3 times since but they seem to be coexisting except for him following her all over the tank. She has places to hide but she goes in for about 30 secs and then she darts out again. Should I separate them or is this normal Breeding behavior for a kkp and a fh? Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt worry too much... It sounds fine so far, but keep a close eye on them. Maybe divide them when youre sleeping or not around so you know they cant harm each other. I would only remove one if the fighting gets more serious.. Past lip locking. When it appears harmful intent... Or until there is a concernable wound to either.
Any pics?

Thanks for the input. Just separated them again because they were fighting when I went to bed. I wish I could post pictures. I only use my iPhone. If anyone can tell me how to post from my iPhone I would... Not really computer savvy.

When you plug your iphone into the computer there should be a little box with a couple of options in it. choose to import pictures using windows.. Then you can upload your pics thru your reply, but not thru quick reply... use the attatchment button at the top next to the :) and the font adjust

All my pics are from my iphone
