I have a 3- 3.5 inch black arowana. In the tank right now I have a divider with the filter on the other side of the aro. I put a little bubbler on the same side of the aro so the waters not just standing still. My question in I want to move my larger aggressive fish out of my 125 and I wasn't to put the aro in there. I have a dividers in 1/3 of the tank for my rhom and a little 5 inch sturgeon and Ralph cat. I 1 100g filter on both ends of the tank so 2 filters total and the same with a power head on both side. I halos have a 100gal airpump on the side I would put the ari on. So the water ripples and movers alot more than the tank he's in now. Is it ok for a ro his size? Should I cut off one of the filters and just leave the power head going or move the airpump?or just wait till he's alittle larger? Please let me know!

Thank you!

Aslong as it is not pushed around you will be fine on the flow. As for dividers...good luck with that. I have never had an aro stay on their side of a divider for long. They find ways to get to that green green grass on the other side.

Also it would be worth leaving it were it is until it out grows that tank. The more you move it the more risk you have killing it.

Ok yeah I might as well just wait alittle longer since he's doing ok for now. The divider I built my self with acrylic, it's the same size as the tank so there's no way around and the top is tapes off with acrylic and tape so he can't get out. I've used it from back when I had my 21inch silver, it's held up bang from a15 inch wolffish and kept in little skinny fish like when I got my2 armatus at 2 inches. I've had it up for a wile, I wouldn't of put my rhom on the other side if I didn't trust it but it wouldn't be for long I would swap out the rhom for my tig once he gets alittle bigger :)
