Am planning my next set up which will consist of two stacked 300 gal tanks in a system. A pair of Rays in each.

How much k1 micro do you think would be required for four fully grown Rays and few misc others, maybe arowana and couple gars.

Presuming this would be only media?

Thanks in advance.

I have about 30 gallons worth of regular k1 for my 360g with crazy aeration

Thanks,

What do you stock in the tank? I was leaning towards approx 150 L K1 micro, based on what joey from king of diy advises.

If you can contain the K1 without it going everywhere else in your sump then I would just use as much as possible to be honest
But I used K3 as it is bigger and easier to contain, still used the same principle though, just crammed as much asi could in the sump, no science. More you can get in the better

Thanks jim.

Yeah I'm using k1 micro which is tiny. Have about 50l atm but with loads of other media also but on new tank want just k1.

I'm planning new set up so may have a few questions for you at some point as you seem to be the uk big tank guru! Lol
