I have a 60g datnoid tank and I'd like to add some java moss to help bring down the nitrates/ammonia. Since small dats like mine don't like the light, I only have a nearby table lamp as their lighting.
I was thinking about getting some java moss. How much light does it need to grow? Can I use dim lighting near the tank (instead of on top with a light fixture) for java moss?
