How much live rock for 30 gal?

I am starting to turn my freshwater puffer tank to brackish, and then over to marine.
How much live rock would I need?

well, live rock is beneficial in a marine environment. Brackish or fresh will kill the bacteria and critters that make live rock live. The amount of rock you need for a marine tank really depends on the kind of rock (tonga, fiji, etc) and the look you're going for.
