How much massivore should I feed my Jack Dempsey?

He's about 5-6" at this point. So far his diet has been steady with hikari sinking carnivore pellets & I recently started giving him frozen bloodworm cubes. He'll eat anywhere from 5-9 carnivore pellets at a time...I usually just drop 2 in at a time until he stops eating/begging. With the bloodworms he gets one cube & thats it. This is fed to him twice a day.

I just got my first bag of massivore & I'm wondering how much I should feed to him. Do I just go with the same routine and feed until he stops eating? Or should I restrict this more? I gave him one this afternoon when I got the bag home just to see if he'd take it...he does He won't touch cichlid staple or bio gold though, picky little bastard

He doesn't appear to be very fat though...I dunno. I'm no expert, I've just been going off of the 'feed what they'll eat in about 5 minutes' guideline.

Some feedings he'll only take 3 or 4 pellets, some feedings he'll sit there & eat as long as you'll drop em in, at which point I stop at 8 call him a fatass & walk away. & for clarification, thats with sinking carnivore, NOT massivore

I have a feeling he'll get two massivore pellets a day, but we'll see. I just got done moving him to my 55 so it may or may not be harder to feed him now that he eats the same food as everything else in the tank.
