how much meth blue to use?

My Sterbai are laying egg almost every other days. Initially I leave them in the tank but the Sterbai ate them all so I set up a 4G tank with has some plants, a sponge filter, heater, and some light. Temp is kept around 80. Throw some eggs in there and the fungus win again. Got some meth blue and dosed as recommended in the bottle, throw some egg in, same result. I have been increased the meth blue over time but can't get any egg to successfully hatched. I change about 50% of the water every 2 days. Should I kept increase the meth blue dosage or did I missed something?

Originally the eggs are clear white with a 1/5 -1/4 cloudy white. After a few days it become all cloudy white. Then another day, fungus

try adding increased circulation in the area where the eggs are located.

if you move the eggs to a diff tank, make sure you use original tank water, dont bother moving white eggs, there dead, make sure to have an airstone near the eggs, you only want a gentle current near them

and also dont even bother with the meth blue, just another unnecessary chem, use aquarium salt, it will keep the fungus away no problem

you mean the clear white egg without the cloudy bubble inside?

I didn't use the tank water. I used aged water. Will try to use the tank water this time.

I got some aquarium salt, going to try it then.

I use methylene blue on my rbp eggs.no fungus ever!but white eggs are NO GOOD!the eggs must be a orange color for them to be good! 2 drops per gallon is their recommendation for methylene blue.always use parents water for DAILY water changes! GL
