I have this 33gallon tank and it houses 3 Tetraodon Schoutedeni , 2 guppies, 2 snowwhite bristlenoses and some cherry shrimps. I have put many plants and different types. For me it looks like the puffers like them. But I don’t know if I overstocked the tank with plants. How to know if someone overstocked the plants in a tank?
is your tank as planted as this?

Never too many plants as long as the fish have room to swim!
Biggest issue I’ve run into with a lot of plants is the fish not producing enough waste to feed the plants, as long as that’s not occurring you’d be fine.

A lightly planted tank like that is nowhere near overstocked for plants. It's more of an issue of if the plants are getting enough light still.
