I would say go with Max Acr.. It's cheaper and I heard it's pretty good

If your using pond armor, start with the 1.5 qt. Kit. It might make it, but it will be close. You might end up having to order another 1.5 qt.

Are you using hardwood plywood? The tighter grain of hardwood soaks less up so it will go farther. Regular plywood you'll need a bunch of coats as opposed to 3 or 4 coats on hardwood
