I know that individual personality plays into it, but assuming typical personalities, how much room would likely be needed to keep a dovii, umbee, and H. malabaricus together for life? I have access to 650 gallons right now and just wonder if that would be enough. The fish are all still young and perhaps keeping them together now would help.

Sorry but don't do it, it will end badly, the dovii will get very aggressive very quickly, as will the the umbee and wolf. They are all highly aggressive, toothy powerful predators, and the dovii and umbee occupy the same swimming space, even in a 1000g tank those fish get big, but tbh they probably wouldn't get the chance to reach full size as they won't stop fighting.

Wow these are some of the largest most aggressive cichlids. I can't imagine putting them all into one tank unless its absolutely gigantic, definitely something larger than a 1000 gallons.
