How much sand for a 300 wide?

I am planning on using pool filter sand for the 300 I am setting up. The dimensions are 96x30x25. I would like to have at least 1" - 1.5" of sand to cover up the undersand jet system I am going to use.

Anyone know approximately how much sand I will need? I purchased 250 pounds so hopefully I will have enough.

If this helps. I used 8. 50 pound bags of gravel in my 500 and it got me 2 1/2 inches. I think i estimated 5 cu feet.
