i am currently feeding him/her night crawlers from walmart or redworms from the yard! I have tried bloodworms and thawed frozen shrimp :irked: but he wont even look at it but he seems to really love night crawlers :nilly:. my only question is how many should i be feeding him a day? he will eat as many as i keep giving him. he is a 10 in fire eel i have had him around 2 weeks in a 280 g. should i give him 2 or 3 a day (all the worms are 3 or 4 in) I am just afraid i will overfeed him and get him sick or that I may be under feeding him. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all for your time!

I feed mine to satation 5 days a week.. then 2 days starve them to let their bodys purge anything. I've found this really works well. they get plump but don't get fat. at 10" I would try frozen krill thats been defrosted thoroughly. I would offer a worm.. then some krill.. then another worm. persistance with mine paid off.
