How much should I feed cichlids?

My cichlids are finally accepting the food I provide - almost too well. No matter how much I put in they all seem to just surface and gobble it all up. So question is should I just keep on putting food in until they don't want any anymore or before then?

yeah feed them till there done a lil at a time and make sure there is no leftover food floating.

You don't need to overfeed. Twice a day is good enough. In the wild they don't really get to eat that much.

no you want to feed them like 2 times a day max. if you overfeed them there will be a problem and left over food will cause your ph to increase a lot.
feeding them twice a day is enough

Mhm well I do make sure that I don't overfeed when I do feed 'em. But okay cool thanks twice a day. )

how big are they? what species? if smaller fish i feed 2 times a day.i prefer to feed larger fish only once a day,then one day a week no food

They're between 5cm to about ~9cm I think. The largest one (9cm) is a convict.
