I recently had an incident in involving my 300 gallon and a fight, so now the tank is pretty much broken and useless, so I've had to put all the fish from there into my 125 gallon. Right now I cannot afford another aquarium with all these vet bills for my dog, so some fish will need to go. I've gotten rid of a few, and now I have three cichlids and I'm not quite sure how much I should sell them for. One is a 9.5-10" (burundi? (I'm not positive that's what he is, I'm just guessing, can anyone confirm that?)) frontosa, I bought him when he was 5-6" for $50. I think it's a male, but I'm not positive, he doesn't have much of a hump either, but he's far from full grown. And I have a 7-8" female Jack Dempsey cichlid, for a female she has pretty nice coloring, I think I got her for around $30 when she was 5". And then I had a (male?) 6" firemouth cichlid, which I bought for $20, I didn't pay as much because his mouth is a bit deformed, but it doesn't affect his lifestyle what-so-ever. Here are some pictures, it should be pretty simple to figure out which is which.

Thank you!

I'd say that they are all relatively common. So the price u paid for them is probably the best your going to get for them. Maybe a little more for the front.

Around here you could get more $100 for the Front. You could probably get a little more out of the firemouth here as well too. But JD's never go for as much as $30 here

I live in Canada, specifically, Alberta. Firemouth and Jack Dempsey cichlids are pretty common, frontosas aren't as common, but they are available. Pet/aquarium stores sell 2-3" burundi frontosas for around $20-40, and ones around 4-5" are usually about $50-70. Breeders will sell their fry (1-2") for $10-15, depending on quality, sometimes around $5 if bought in bulk.. The only reason why I got mine cheaper is because someone just brought him in, and because I usually take their 'special needs' (crippled, blind, deformed) fish/amphibians/reptiles off their hands the owner gives me deals.

I was at an aquarium store today that they had some 5" Jack Dempseys for $40.. I'm a bit lost when it comes to selling fish, I'm more of a buyer than a seller, and I don't usually keep track of prices.
