Kansas
I have a 210 gallon perfecto glass aquarium with minor scratches, with a freshly painted black stand/canopy, both of which are store bought. Filtration includes an FX5, a large penguin biowheel, and an aquatech 60. Will include any filter pads I have. I have a 48" fluorescent shop fixture and a 48" long nice DIY moonlight that will go with the tank. Also included is a very nice 2'x18"x18" piece of driftwood. Native fish like bass, channels, and carp will go with tank if buyer wants them. I also have 150-200 lbs of sand the buyer can have if wanted. Tank is currently set up.

I bought this tank for $800. That was when the stand/ canopy were in horrible shape and painted a reddish orange to match the room that the previous owner had it in. I bought the tank for $800 with only crappy filtration and no FX5 or penguin. Tank was also bought without the lights or driftwood.

So, what would you buy it for?

I currently have it listed for $1300 and I am beginning to think that the price is too high. I live in Kansas by the way, so tank prices here are significantly higher than the west/east coasts.

maybe $600.

LOL. Look at Kansas ebay and craigslist. You can't find a 150 gallon tank for less than $800....

I was just quoted a new setup 220gallon and it was $1100 with a light and stand. You can get an FX5 for $200 on ebay and hobs really aren't worth that much used. I'm guessing that you can get around $600-700ish as well. I'm currently finding out used tank values the hard way. I have a ton of tanks in my garage that are for sell. I'm selling them for under 1/2 what they cost new and getting no bites.

Well that sucks. I pay $800 for a tank under a year ago and put $800+ into it and can't even get the $800 I originally paid for it out of it?

What I'm doing with my tanks is just putting them up and sitting on them until the right person comes along to purchase them. I can't afford to lose too much money, so I will see if patience works out.

Maybe try and sell some of it separately. I could never come up with 1300, let alone even 600. But 200 for the FX5, I could. IDK if you want to go that route but just a suggestion.

I may try this if it doesn't sell soon.
