How much time do you spend watching your fish?

My fiance just walked into the room and caught me staring at my fish tank. She thinks I'm crazy

So I was wondering how crazy am I? (not to be engaged) to watch my fish for hours on in. Just some jazz a drink and my tanks.

In our new house I am planning a fish room in the basement where I can loose myself.

before my pacu died i would spend hours watching him he watch back and tried to attack any one who interrupted our "alone time" he didnt like my dad and would try to kill him.

When our guest bed was in the room with our 125g native fish tank me and my husband would lay there and watch the fish until we fell asleep. I think we slept in that room more than our own bedroom 'cause we watched the fish so much, lol.

My livingroom has a 125g tank with africans and an ornate, and a 75g reef tank and I stare at those all the time.
We have fish tanks in every single room of our house for a reason

Haha I always just lean up against my bed on my floor and watch my pickerel. I just love that fish! My mom always walks by and just like rolls her eyes....

well i actually only watch them about maybe 20-30 min a day, but i love them lol.

i spend more time on maintanence then i do at enjoying them

I find myself wandering into the tank area many times a day. I usually work from home so it's like 10 times a day?!? On the other hand, I end up thinking of what else I could do, change, make, or add for the tanks more than I concentrate on the fish. Wish I could just veg out.

ahah well i have a big mixed tank cichlids and some other favs
and i usually get pissed when they attack the fish not supposed to be being attacked

but then i watch them to also settle down also from a crazy work out
