just wondering ... got something in mind..

It can drain all of it. :naughty:

If you're asking about flow rate, it's about 380-400gph (gravity)

Here's a chart of max rates for different PVC diameters (under pressure):

lol you smartass you

what im thinking is my 180 AGA came drilled with 1" bulkheads and 3/4" bulkheads..in each over flow and there are 2 overflows...

i was thinking to use all 4 as drain holes.. and run the returns external....

so i would have a mag 18 and mag 9.5 running my flow....

Go For It. I have tanks with dual overflows. And, each overflow has a drain and return also. I use 3 as drains and one for a return line. I just like the stability of the bulkhead mounted return (no line can get bumped off or fall off the hanging point. Plus, I can keep the tank covers on flat.

thats true...
i would do pvc the whole way....
and i would have to make exact cutout on the back of my tank and then also tape them / throw a towel over the whole tank...

i still gotta think a little more on this... because it would call for alot of work...

thanks for the help phil
