How much water can over flow through a 2" pipe?

Im designing filters and need to move 8-10 thousand gph. Each filter will have a 2" over flow back into the tank. How many filters with 2" over flows will it take to move this much water?

Each filter will have a 2" overflow back into the tank? Into the main tank as in a return from the pump? Or overflow from the tank into a sump of some sort? Will the over flows be a straight shot down or will there be turns and horizontal runs and if so how long? Lots of variables.

Over flow from the filter, straight 2" pipe horizontal less then a foot long

The water will be pumped into the bottom of the filters and the filters will over flow back into the tank. the tank will have a wall built around it do I can either have the filters right above the tank or against the back just above water level and have it just drain into the main tank
