I would say about 450lbs. A 180gal weighs about 340lbs empty so

Acrylic would be lighter a bit, not sure it would matter much though once you add the water

sorry for all the questions , how much would you think a 220 gallon acrtlic just the tank would run me? all glass they are asking 900. btw the glass is a CUBED tank.

well im from canada , hamilton ontario . . so big als aha, i wanna get the 220 deep cubed but i dont know much it will weight , on the marineland site it says 285 pounds empty,

Well if marineland says 285 and they make the tank, I would think it weighs 285lbs then. I would get 3 people to help move it. We had 3 people to help move my buddies 240 tall and it worked very well.

I say the more the better.. I will always use a couple extra guys than actually needed.. You never know when someones hand may slip or if they will lose their footing.. I never risk having a single point of failure.. If you have a few extra guys helping than needed you dont have to worry about someone losing grip or triping, everyone else can pick up their slack.. Just something to think about..

This is true I would say more is better as well. Also if possible, put it on a cart and roll it as much as possible, to again, reduce effort and lowers risks of droping, so only lift it when nessisary like to get it into place, or up stairs, or through doors or w/e. Also nice to see another Canadian!
