he should be ok for a while but a 180 will be better in the future thse guys get big 18'' and a 90 will eventually be too small..

Jags grow really quick like a Oscar,so you be surprised when they grow 7 inches,they become very aggressive towards other fishes,whether its same size or smaller to establish another territory,they would rather be king of the tank

Its entirely up to you and your preference. If you like brighter colors and alot of activity without alot of aggression between fish go with mbuna or peacocks.
