Its free for me :D but only because I am trading a xbox360 with 5/games and a bunch of extras for it. Probably cost me close to $700-800 for everything. <3 craigslist

The guy says he has over $1500 into this tank which I don't doubt. It measures 72x18x24 and its 150g. Its a complete saltwater set up, I wouldn't have to buy a single thing. The only problem is I don't want a saltwater tank or his fish (2 clowns 2 triggers 1 puffer 1 lion). But I would like to take them to my LFS for credit. Its just going to be tough having to tell this guy I'm only taking his fish so I can trade them in for credit at a fish store. I don't know if I should tell him or not but I'm sure would be easier than having to take the fish and the tank at the same time. Any idea on how much I could get for these anyways? I was thinking I could get somewhere around $100 credit for all of them.

anyways.. heres all the pictures of the tank that he sent me so far

the tank and stand alone are probably around at least $400 new here.

Looks like a complete Freshwater setup but with salt water in it, a few pounds of live rock and saltwater fish. In my opinion, a very poor saltwater tank setup.
When you think of it, it probably cost you roughly $600 in assests?

well I'd be using it for freshwater anyways. I thought the same thing as you about it being a bad salt water tank too.

you guys are making me change my mind about this tank.. I just bought a complete 120g setup too and barely have room for it, If I got this one it would just be randomly set up in my basement somewhere but wouldn't be a bad tank to have.. Would you guys pass on this deal considering the amount I have on the xbox? It cost me about $750 for all of it but I probably couldn't get more than $250-300 for it on ebay/craigslist. I never play it though so its only sitting there depreciating in value. Maybe I will tell this guy I will only take it if he can deliver it to me for free.

Seriously, this is a one off and this bloke can get a heap more cash for this tank. Be generous and swap something you dont use, into something that supports great life! You may need a U-Haul van, but what kind of sacrafice is that compared to owning a new 150G for next to cash?

If you don't use the X-box, I would say do it.......BUT......Those dimensions are 135 gallons FWIW and the tank only looks to be 5ft in the pic. You could get some store credit for the fish, and he should have other things that will not be needed for fresh, like a protein skimmer. I don't even think those are "live" rocks but I could be wrong. If he told you it is a 150 gallon when you go see it bring a tape measurer a note pad and pen, and pretend to make it seem like you know some crazy formula and say.."I come up with 135"..lol And make him throw in some more stuff, like a dvd or a smaller tank if he has it. Good luck with whatever you do :)

Edit: Did not see the pic just to the right corner of the tank....He could probably kick your ass so be carefull...LOL

I gotta ask. In the last pic...the smaller pic in frame. Is that a chick in bra??

Back to the subject. It's a crappy deal if you ask me. The total value is way less than $700 for sure.
