How much would you pay for...

I've been pondering the idea of selling female convicts. I'm growing out my first batch of fry and just today the female laid another cluster of eggs.
I set up a fake kijiji add to gauge interest in my area.

So that leads me to ask...
What would you pay for a 1" female convict?

I priced them at $1.00 CDN. To low or high?:confused:

how long would it take for a newly born female con fry to reach 1" in length?
 
convicts are pretty easy to find, just about everywhere . . . $1 each is a good price, but I don't see how it could be worth the effort . . .

figured there might be a market for the females... however small it may be. I find it difficult to find females in my area.

Seems to be a ratio of about 10 males to 1 female in most of my LFS's
 
you can try to bread pink convicts.. I bought a few from a store I once worked at. later traded them in to my LFS and they had them listed at 19.99 and all three sold... (I still miss them)

but regular cons are a dime a dozen.
 
i just breed them for fun not really to sell them. theyre not worth much... sometimes i get money when half the batch is pink.
