How much would you pay

Yep another thread... But this time I am trying to figure out if my expectations are too large.

Anyways the background. I have basically one batch of lwanda fry that are now 1 inch. I want to keep all the females. I don't know if I want to keep the males. So I started pulling males that had color. Amazingly I have 2 males that are keeping their color when they are 1 inch in a tank that has 4 inch fish with a fairly aggressive German red... Because these are such awesome fish I decided I wasn't willing to let them go for anything less than 20. (If I give them a few more months it would be 30 bucks at least.)

I don't think that your price is out of range providing that you can find buyers who are looking for those specific fish. Maybe do a little market research by putting a few on aquabid.

Oh I don't have many. I am just seeing if I am being sensible. (IE I only have 2 males that are like that, I have one more male that is starting to show color, but I doubt he would keep it with that german red.) I then think I have like 7 more fish though I hope most are female... I don't know yet.

Try aquabid, one of the local guys here sells them on their regularly. Will give you an idea of what they go for!
