How much would you pay?

I got home for christmas and snapped some better pics with my phone. I have some on the SLR but I haven't uploaded them yet. Anyway, these pics are all of the same rock. It's completely covered in zoanthids. 4 different varieties... I can't even estimate how many polyps... Insane.

I'd think on Divers den or Mr coral or Coral morphologic this piece would cost well over 100 bucks. What would you pay?

$50 sounds reasonable for me. Though I would agree most pet shops would price it around $100. The ones in the third pic I call Flying Saucers. I have some and havnt seen many pics online of them.
 
Flying saucers, lol. That's a good name. They do kind of remind me of a UFO. Around here, something like this is very rare. Zoa frags are common, but no colonies this large. I probably would have paid up to 100$ for something like this but luckily I didn't have to. :D
 
How much did you pay for it Echo?...around here at lfs like petlands/petcos...$100 easy at my lfs where I go to usually probably around
$40-50...still think you got away with like $15 right?
 
21 bucks and some change. Thought I did pretty good considering I've ordered 20-30 dollar frags with a fraction of the polyps.

Wow, ya you definitely got a deal. You could cut a couple chunks off there and get your money back and still have a free huge zoa rock.
 
It's in my brothers tank though... otherwise I would be fragging those flying saucers! :D
