Salt should I be putting in my 125gal? Will it bring my pH up aswell?

I don't use any salt in my tanks, people have different opinions about it but I personally don't see the need for it. I've done plenty of research on it and I just can't justify it.

I've heard that adding salt to your tanks is good for your fish.

Here is another guy that never adds salt to his tanks (unless treating for ich).

I assume you are going fresh water and not brackish?

If so, don't believe the hype, it will not do your fish any good...

Using Prime or Stress Coat do just fine in helping the fish create and maintain their slime coats.

only 2 of my tanks ever get any salt... one is the highend brackish/salt tank.. the other is the Qtank and even thats only done "as needed"
