How many red belly pirahnahs could I fit in a 29 gallon tank when they are adults.

rbp's like to swim...a 29 would be really cramped for one.

The easiest setup is 3 rbp's in a 55, with a large powerhead for some current.

There are other p's that might do better in a 29.

Evan a san could reach a length of 9 in. imo still a little cramped. Red bellies can get to 10+ inches.

If you're just starting out, try what JD_Man is talkin about. That's how I've started, and I'm lovin' it. It's not to expensive either.

eh? i was rather suprised how easy it was for me to get some RBPs in SoCal.
PM me if you want to know how. and depending where your located, i can sell you some.

I wouldnt even try to put one in. They like some room to swim around and whatnot.

1 if it did not get larger than 9" or so, It is really to small for a rbp.

MFK does not promote or encourage the keeping or sales of any fish in a location in which they are prohibited.
