How offten to feed 2-3" p bass fry

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just picked up 3 1.5"-2" Orinos a week ago and I have been feeding them blood worms 3-4 times throughout the day, never completely stuffing them though. I actually just got them to eat Hikari Massivore Delite pellets today which I'm pretty stoked about!

3 or 4 times a day when they are young is a good start, blood worms are the go. or black worms if you can get them. actually black worms are better if you can get them clean/ purged as they have a higher fat content.

with my first pack i stuffed them with live feeder guppies and later rosies 2 times a day for about 3 weeks (from about 1.5"-5")

with my newly aquired pack i feed finely chopped market shrimp 3-4 times a day.

the important thing is to keep them stuffed and offer food frequently.

at least 3 times a day and i live to feed them live black worms when they are that small

I power fed my Pbass with feeder rosies and Bloodworms. I was getting about an inch of growth a month on that diet. I fed them bloodworms 3x a day and rosies once daily. I even let the rosies have a sleep over one night for good measure. You will pick up really quickly the eating habits and preferences of your Pbass. It will let you know in suttle ways what they like and how much of it. Diversity is key. Dont just feed them feeders all the time.
