how often do you feed?

hi i currently have 3 watermelon royals in my 125gal tank and i was wondering how often you feed your pleco's. they are all about 7-8" and are currently eating cucumber and sinking massivore that my dat's aren't eating. i just dont want to starve them. here's apic of them.

Twice a day. A fish can do without food for a week or two although it is not advisable with juveniles as this may simply stunt their growth.
 
My two 5" Royal Panaques are in their own tank upstairs in the loft/bedroom. They've got zucchini in there most the week plus I feed them (actual) spirilina tablets and a few sinking granules or whatever I grab on the way upstairs. The tank has a red light on it and It's the highlight of my day watching them scoot sand around eating every night :-)
 
ok thanks for the info. i just want to make sure that they are getting enough to eat and not starve to death, just because i am not feeding them enough.
 
Give them more veggies than the massivore. If they are really into the massivore feed them that. I lost a Royal because he never ate enough, I think he was sick to boot.
