How often should I feed 6" cichla ocellaris?

Hi guys,

How often should I feed 6" cichla ocellaris?

At the moment they get 9mm pellets and prawns everyday.

Thinking of changing this to feeding every second day to help keep the water clean.

Is this a good idea or bad idea?

I would feed him everyday till he hits 12" then feed him once in 2 or 3 days.

Feed daily once or twice... Wanna know what helps with clean water? Water changes!!!!! Gotta get used to that if your gonna keep bass

2-3 50% changes a week should do. Feed 6" twice a day till 10+" then once till 12" every other day. My 20+" get twice a week.

I feed my 3 orinos which are all roughly over 10" once every other day on top of a 50-60% water change weekly. My geos I feed twice day and same water change as the bass. Can never have to much clean water!!
