How often to feed?

Ok well I picked up a second temz yesterday so I picked up 15 small comets, they went through them like nothing, one foul swoop one of them grabbed 3 at once (I was dropping them in a few at a time, for the training) all I can say is holy cow they are fast my other fish didnt even know what was going on lol.

I was wondering how often I should feed them? here are some pics of them them...

other members will tell you to stuff them 3 times a day... i say feed them enough but not to much... i give my cichla a few small meals through the day instead of stuffing them. this is my opinion. if you want a natural apeal then try my way if you want obese fish just feed them as much as possible 2 times a day or so
 
I was thinking if stuffing them every other day because it isn't like they eat every day in the wild, at least until they start taking the raw shrimp then I would feed them every day...
 
what i do is buy 5 dozen at a time, and drop them in one at a time for a few reasons:
1. when the fish stop eating i stop dropping them in so i have some for the next day
2. get them off of live food
3. one of my pbass is significantly smaller and when the bigger are full he gets a shot to eat haha

i feed them 3-4 times a week with that system

well I dont have a spot to keep the extra feeders atm, I was also hoping my dat and leopard ctenopoma would of got a couple but they didnt even know what was going on...

I think next time I will just buy 6 or so bigger rosy's...
 
thanks, right now I am just trying to train them so they know I am feeding them then I will start dropping in pellets and shrimp. They wouldnt even touch the shrimp, they would watch my dat tear it apart with the look of confusion lol...
 
lol they will soon learn from your dat that shrimp is good to eat
