how often do you do partial saltwater change? what do you use? the true saltwater or the aquarium salt?

You always use marine salt in a saltwater tank. Adding aquarium salt does not make it saltwater as it does not contain the necessary salts and minerals found in true marine conditions. I do partial waterchanges once a month or so.

I do a 30 percent wc every 2 weeks with Rodi water and Instant Ocean salt. I bought the Rodi unit for like 275 I think. Great investment!

if u plan on having corals, then you would deff. want to use rodi water, and consider at least once a week water changes to replace all the nutrients.
