How old do red belly piranhas have to be to spawn

I'm have 3 red belly piranhas about 10 months old and I'm hoping to breed them,. My question is how old do they have to be to breed , if there is any real way to figure out if I even have a male and female and any tips on how to get them to spawn

They do need to be in a big pond to breed and sorry but don't think that u r going to breed red belly pacu with just 3 specimens,they need to b atleast 12-15 pieces for bonding as they are schooling fish and their age should be atleast 2 years,i think
 
I have red belly piranha not pacu..and my piranhas were born in a 55 gallon bow front at my friends house

basic size for a pygo to be seen breeding is about 5 inches.........Females are rounder at the belly region and males have a more slender longer build...........Both parents when about to breed turn into a very dark, almost black, color..........
