Not very. My female endlers start breeding at about 1/2 full adult size.

when I bred swordtails they were mating probably 3 weeks to a month after birth. They start at a really young age.

I'd say a month, as well. The young females don't produce nearly as many young as a fully mature female. How many fry are dropped depends on the strain and age. A fully mature female can average 40+ fry.

I'm pretty sure that the average time is a month, it's really not long at all. and the amount of fry depends on the size of the fish, and how many times she is caught by the males

jw, but a couple of my guppies have gotten really big stomachs, and a bit of black it seems like inside their stomach, does this mean its pregnant?

im trying to keep a couple pregos in my oscar tank to see if they drop before eaten.

I have 2 females and 2 males house with 5 goldfish in a 20 gallong tank. Do you think my guppies will reproduce with the goldfish harrassing them?
