how old is your eldest Mbuna?

I am new and still learning. However I am curious how long Mbuna can actually live. Let me know your oldest fish and what type it is. Pics are even better.

i have a zebra and bumblebee that are 6"-7" and i inherited them both, but they have to be around 3 years if not closer to 4 for the crabro....and i know they can live longer...i've heard of some living to close to 10 years...

I still have 2 of my original Red Zebras and 1 yellow lab from my Mbuna starter tank in 2005.

I have a yellow lab that is over 10 years old and a Perlmutt that is approaching 10 years.

I heard they have about the same lifespan as most dogs. Between 10-15 years.

I had a female Melanochromis Johanni, which was one of the original fish I stocked my pond with in 1989, she died this past January during the South Florida cold spell.

Her orange coloration had darkened considerably and was blind in one eye but remained active up until that point.
