I have had one in my 90 since 3 months ago he has been fed exclusively NLS cichlid formula the only exception is the occasional bit of krill (once a week maybe) But he does not seem to be growing much. He is about 2 1/2 inches including tail and is fed well.

Thanks cichlid guys and gals! ,

:irked: I thought NLS was the best ! although I question its protein for my venestus and livingstonni

just give them some at 2.5 inches they are due for a growth spurt. Once you get to 4 inches its downhill from there.
Some what? :)

whoops! I meant TIME.
Oh ok :) Thanks for the advice guys im being impatient lol my livingstonni is growing a lot faster and so are my yellow labs lol cant figure that one out I really want my giraffe to get that blue coloring.
I am really doing my best to help the fish grow theres only 10 Africans (The livingstonni will move in with my bichirs in the 100 when he becomes 8" ) and they have a fluval 405 an ac110 an eheim 2215 and 2 chemical reactors packed with carbon and purigen waiting to go in. Plus they get two 50% water changes a week. So they grow quickly it just seems the venestus is the slowest :irked:
