I have no problem with catch and release fishing as long as the fish is unharmed. I dont mind killing a fish at the right size if youre going to eat it either. But to catch a monster mako and just put it up on display is just a plain shame.

It irritates me every time I see something like this. There was no good reason to kill it! Who cares if it broke a record. IMO something like this is far more impressive alive and in the ocean.

There is already a thread about this and I already commented in there but I basically agree with you guys. There is no justifiable reason for killing that animal.
