I have a pond that is 250g and is like 2 feet deep. What is the cheapest way to filter it? I have seen people use buckets and a water fall type method but I didn't know exactly how to do that or if it was the cheapest.

Thanks for your input!

DIY is the cheapest.

Check out the Bog filter threads on here.... Very cool concept.....! I am going to be doing a pond this year also and be laying the foundation for a bog system experimenting and will have it all set for next season....

Good Luck...!!!

Your lucky that the pond is not too big which opens up the cheap over the counter pressure(canister type) filters. Should be ok to handle 250g, with reasonable results. You should be able to diy something up cheaper, with something like a drum with filter pads and bio filtration in one. Pump from the pond straight into the filter and have the exit near to the bottom back into the pond
