INFO:
95 gal aquarium. 1 IT datnoid, 3 Peacock bass (2 Orino's and one tem), 1 frontosa and 1 Mbu Puffer Fish. I noticed ich symptoms today. my Tem was swim odd like he's trying to shake off something off the body, (twitching?), scratching body on sand. No signs of white ich spots so not sure whats the main problem yet. I believe my Tem got ich because of stress he had no friends (other bass) and he was scared of my datnoid even tho he doesn't do nothing. all i see on the fins are these small crystal type dots im asuming thats there design since he is a tem. (im not to sure about the disease yet, i have read an article that its easy to spot but not for me) So i got 2 new orino's lastnight and they were swiming together fine like a family :) i believe the orinos didnt have any ich there were no signs of it. just earlier i seen my frontosa scratch his body on the sand and the datnoid. i have done a water change today and added aquarium salt but i dont have a heater. i will buying one tomorrow.

QUESTIONS:
1. When should i treat the tank? i dont even know what disease is it? what if i treat it tomorrow? i might kill them because i dont even know the disease or if they have a disease.
2. how should i setup the heater? what type of heater?
3. How many water changes? a schedule? how much percentage of water?
4. Should i continue using aquarium salt? or get a medication? like i said im afraid i might kill them i have paid alot of money for them.
5. should i feed them still? they eat fine.
6. i have sand so i cant remove my sand or anything but i do remove the poo what should i do? or does that even matter?

im not dumb i just need help from my experts and answers from experience people. I will be testing the water parameters tomorrow, if they die i think i might quit the hobby i spent to much time and money. what if im to late because i dont know if im firm about the disease and treats it late. i think i should stick to the heater and salt and water changes.

this guy is useless..raise the temp and add salt..you should get a heater and keep the temp steady..one reason i found ime is ich comes from fluctuating temps.

My rule of beating Ick is raising the temp to 86 and adding aquarium salt and with in a couple of days its gone. But I also leave the temp like that until I do a water change and then drop back down to 82 deg. if you catch is fast enough you will beat it but it will always be in the back of your mine will it happen again.
