I have two Rio Meta Orino that are about 9-10", they are growing really slow and look like they haven't grow at all.
Both of them doesn't really seem to eat and the other hand, I am feeding them massorive pellets they eat them but end up spitting 3-4 of them back out. (*They don't seem to want to eat the pellets*) they don't eat like how my other peacock bass eat... need help what should I do.. Water is good crystal clear and clean, 180 gallon with two FX5 running

Thanks!

Try pre-soaking the pellets a little bit first? Orinos grow very slowly, mine is an excellent eater and she only grew 1/2 inch in a month. They slow down a lot after 9 inches long. The first one looks fine, plump around the neck, no sunken belly. The second one looks a bit on the thin side, I don't see much muscle/fat along its neck behind its head.

Thanks.. the only thing I feed them are pellets and the top orino spit them all back out and the one bottom eat only 3-4 than goes away... they always look hungry and will come up for food but want nothing to do with pellets. I want them both to be fat but I can't cause they only eat so little

How long have you had these guys? Have you tried any other pellets? Did you notice any weird looking poop come out from them or in the tank?

I have them for a good 1 year and almost 2. They won't take other pellets than massovie pellets, I try floating but thy dislike it..poop are normal

Yes they grow too slow so that I had to sell my Kelberis because they over grown the orinos.. I am do a water change all the time to increase their growth and try to over feed but doesn't work
