I'd like to clear out some supplies and I have several smaller tanks I've acquired over the years. I'm trying to decide which to get rid of.

Mostly I think small tanks are too difficult to keep stable, but I see people repurposing stuff on here a lot and I don't want to end up re-buying down the road.

I have a 2.5 gallon hex, a 5 gallon, a 6 hex, and a 20 high.

Any good reasons to keep any of these? My main tank is a 90 gallon of community fish, and I have a 10 gallon for a hospital.

I keep a 2.5 and 5 for fry tanks. I don't always remove fry but sometimes i get all parental and keep them around. I would keep the 20 and the 5.

It sounds like to me you need more water and fish. I would keep the 20 incase you need to grow out something. Of course if you were to get into rare predators and needed feeders those tanks would be handy.

id keep them all... the tiny ones are great for fry.. the 6hex/20tall would be nice for some shrimp/guppies... which are very soothing and the make nice fish snacks...

I'd just keep the 20 high. just incase your fishes get bigger and need a bigger hospital tank. Or you can also use it as a grow out for frys.
