I have new 125 gal freshwater tank with only one 6 to 7 inch Jag with 2 power filters and underground filter setup. I have about 70 % of the bottom of the tank covered with large rocks and 2 large pieces of driftwood and so rest of the bottom is 1/4 to 1/2 inch size gravel mixed w 1 to 1 1/2 inch stones( to try to keep him from disturbing it) haha. I was wanting to know how soon should I clean the gravel for the 1st time, as I dont want to do it to early and remove too much of the beneficial bacteria.Also wanting to know if and when he exposes some of the ugf is this a big problem for the ugf since I also have the powerfilters.
How soon after new 125 gal setup should gravel be cleaned?

you can vacuum it when it is time for your first water change.
vacuuming it does not remove the bacteria, they are stuck to the gravel via their sticky outer cell layers.
