How soon can new silicone be put in an aquarium?

I just put silicone on some of my fake plants to hold a gravel base on them so they won't keep floating up. How long should I wait before I put the plants back in the tank? Should the silicone be cured for a couple days or is it alright once it is dry to the touch? I used 100% silicone with no additives.

I usually wait until it has cured completely(24-36 hours for most products)

Last time I siliconed, I let it dry for 24 hours then set it in a 5 gallon of tank water for 24 hours before adding it to the tank.

Same for me 24 hours, and then just a bucket of tap water for 24 hours just incase anything does leaches out.
