How the heck do i ship from one airport to another?

Ok i feel like an idiot on the topic of fish shipping. i usually know a little bit about everything except for fish shipping. this is a complete mystery to me :screwy:

so, i see lots of times guys saying they ship from one airport to another. can somebody give me a rundown on this? what is involved and what do i need to know? what carrier do you guys use? can i use somebody like UPS at the airport? like show up with the fish and take it to UPS cargo to ship to another airport?

i checked Southwest and everything seemed pretty straight forward except they said i need to be a 'known shipper' per TSA, which of course costs $50 and takes about a week to get an account :irked: is it like this to do any airport shipment????????

can somebody please shed some much-needed light on this subject? thanks! :)
 
I have only been shipped fish and never sent out myself so i would reccommend going to your local Air port cargo hold facility. And ask questions.. They will give the best answers.
